I would like to see:

Private Snafu (just for fun, see if you can do one in color, which never happened, I believe)
Felix the Cat
Calvin and the Colonel
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Hoppity Hooper and gang
Tom and Jerry (from Van Beuren, not the cat/mouse duo)
Ant and the Aardvark
Blue Racer
Pink Panther

Tom and Jerry (from Van Beuren, not the cat/mouse duo)
I actually did one of Jerry - but once I completed it, I decided it was too obscure.

I went, I say, I went with Foggy. He seems to have sort of a cult following among LT fans (I know there are two members of my own family who just love him!).

She's not a WB character, but I'm still hoping for Minnie.

Of the choices listed on the poll, I think it should be either Foghorn Leghorn or Elmer Fudd. I chose Foghorn Leghorn because I think of Foghorn as the "star" of the cartoons in which he appears. With the obvious exception of the solo cartoons, I think of Elmer Fudd as being part of a cartoon in which another character is the "star."

Can someone explain about why this is a question of adding just one ? What is the limiting factor here ?

We need another Disney character so I say Minnie Mouse or Chip and Dale. A roger rabbit smilie would be cool too but he's not really an oldie.

Of course, I'd honestly have to say that BOTH really need to be added. They're both essential WB characters IMO.

I just was kind of curious which LT character people wanted to see the most. I'm not sure how many more smilies I'll add, but I don't think I'll add too many more. When you get to the point when people are suggesting characters as obscure as Van Buren's Tom and Jerry... you know you've pretty much covered everybody.

WB: Foghorn Leghorn and Elmer Fudd

Disney: Minnie Mouse, Pluto

MGM: Red

Personally, I wouldn't call any of those obscure...

Most of those characters are the ones most likely to be added next.

...and a couple surprises.

But those will probably be the final batch of smilies.

But those will probably be the final batch of smilies. That's good. Personally, I think we have enough smilies at the moment, but I can see why people would want a Elmer Fudd smilie (and etc).

It may be too much wishfull thinking, but I'd like to see at least ONE avatar dedicated to an only-silent cartoon character. Felix would be great, but he's been reincarnated into sound films many times, so I would like to see something that was only silent.
Otherwise, yes, a TerryToon! (Kiko! Puddy! Hail, Hail the Farmer's here!)

But you just listed 6 that aren't there and asked which one should be added ? I'm asking why not all of those 6, and then why not every character to appear in a WB cartoon ?

There is no limit to the amount of smilies I can add, but if I added one for every single cartoon character we'd not only have a ridiculous number of smilies but a ridiculous number of smilies nobody would ever use. The six characters I listed were ones I thought people might think were important enough to have smilies and was just seeing which one had the most interest. I actually think we have more than enough already, but there will be one final batch at some point that will fill in a few of the more requested gaps.

(Sorry guys, but Kiko the Kangaroo and Van Beuren's Tom and Jerry won't be among them... :sylvester )

Elmer Fudd because you need to round out the "hunter" gang.
