I'll be blunt - Was there ever a Fractured Fairy Tale called "The Phox, the Box and the Lox"? That title has lingered in my mind for a while along with a narrator that referred to the "phox" as "the fox with a ph". And if I'm right, what was it about??

Yes, it was an all-new cartoon made a few years ago. It was shown in theaters before Universal's live-action Dudley Do-Right movie in 1999. It was based on an unproduced script originally written by Bill Scott. I believe it's on the DVD of the Dudley Do-Right movie as well.
I only saw it once (when the DD movie aired on Starz), so I don't really recall the plot (it involved a Fox trying to get a treasure chest opened).

Interesting, I'd be curious to see how it turned out. Was it produced with the intention to screen theatrically or was the Dudley Doright movie just a good excuse to exhibit it to the public? Who did the animation?
