My toughts on the new verison of Underdog.

Kinda surprised that no one posted the remastered, restored verison of Underdog on Boomerang and I want to share that I have mixed emotions on how Classic Media presents this classic series.First off, the restorations look simply amazing and it looks like the show was just made.Secondly, the show is missing all of their original opening and closing tv credits, as well as each of the other Total Tv, series.CM has replaced the original Underdog theme song with a rather terrible cheesey new verison, that you want to cover your ears when you hear it.Third, the best part(the only good thing) is that not only do you get to see Tennessee Tuxedo, Go-Go-Gophers, Klondike Kat and Commander McBrag, but they also added segments from the King Leonardo series, for which is one of the best things about the new look verison.I can only hope that CM puts out a collectors edition of Underdog with everything intact, the way it should be seen.

FYI, they've released complete series sets of Underdog in some parts of the world (I used to come across them, but they seem to be out-of-print now), though I never bought any so I don't know if they're the restored versions. I hope this means that complete series sets will be released in the U.S. eventually, because when some parts of the world got a complete "Roger Ramjet" set, the U.S. soon followed.
