I guess that would be Frank's life-long friend and partner, Ollie Johnston, Uncle Junior.

Not only that, but he and Ollie were also interviewed on the Mickey Mouse in B&W DVD set.
RIP, Frank.:(

There was an EXCELLENT movie in the 1990's -- a documentary/cinema verite' feature it was --- entitled "FRANK AND OLLIE" , released by DISNEY , about the two master artistes.
It was shown mostly at "Art House" cinemas..and I would LIKE to think that it IS somewhere on DVD/VHS, as a testimonial to those artistic giants' legacy..
Frank, you WILL be MISSED! :(

Actually, I believe Ollie is still alive. You mean that the other 7 of the 9 old men are waiting for Frank.

It's very tragic to hear that one of the greatest Disney animators is now gone. He created some very memorable characters and will surely be missed. Sad thing is though is that I thought he was already dead, shows how much I know.
Long live the nine old men!!!!
