I like him, but some of his cartoons I could do without.

Sometimes I like him, sometimes I don't. Depends on my mood. (and please, no bookworm!)

I really like Sniffles - not exactly Chuck Jones material as it would become known - but a few of the Sniffles cartoons I consider true Warner Brothers classics, like "The Egg Collector."

Sniffles is my main homey! I'd get bored of the cute shtick, but the story lines pull me in - especially the one where he tries to stay up to see Santa Claus, or the one where he's running from the cat w/ his bookworm pal among all the toys. Even his last one is good! I think Jones is good even when others say he is bad. I LIKE many of his "Cute Disney-esque" cartoons. It's the Dover Boys that I don't care for !

I had to vote marginal. Sniffles will never be my favorite character, and Jones did better work with other characters. But I don't think Sniffles is as bad as some people say.

Sniffles toons are mediocre at best. But I voted yes.

I like Sniffles. The character and his cartoons have a cute feel to them, about a step up from Disney's Silly Symphonies series. The best Sniffles films are "Bedtime for Sniffles", "The Unbearable Bear", "Lost and Foundling", and "Hush My Mouse".

Sniffles added consistency to the set of short cartoons that he appeared in, many of which could've been drawn as one-shots. Yes, I like Sniffles.

Me? I'm marginal. I don't really care for his ultra-cute cartoons of the early Jones period but once Jones started getting jazzier with his cartoons (and that included Sniffles), there were some good ones like "Hush My Mouse"... and I'd LOVE to see "The Unbearable Bear".

I have always liked Sniffles. He's one of the few Disneyesque cute characters that I actually like. His cartoons give me a warm, cheerful smile to my face, besides the huge grin and uproar of laugh from the other WB cartoons.

I like him, but not too much, his voice does irriate me after hearing it for a while. Also one of my favorite cartoons involved him trying to catch a baby owl or something, forgot the name of it though.

sniffles is real cute as far as he goes, but i'm glad there aren't too many with him; he's kinda one-dimensional. must admit, though, christmas just wouldn't be the same without him.

The Sniffles cartoons were great quality and they could get moralistic but not too bad. The cute stuff can be just as good as zany or realistic anyway.

I like Snuffles, too. It is Snuffles, right? Not Sniffles...

"Sniffles" is a cute-type Mouse Character in several WB cartoons of the 30's and 40's. "Snuffles" is the dog that just loves "dog biskiets" in a number of early HB toons, beginning with some Quick-Draw McGraw" episodes. Some say that Scooby Doo's love of "Scooby Snacks" originated with Snuffles.

For the most part I like him. But, as others have already pointed out, there are several of his cartoons that I wouln't mind never seeing again.

I like Sniffles for the most part. I really like "Sniffles and the Bookworm" because of its catchy score (I don't know why so many people hate it.)

My favorite of the series is "Lost and Foundling", with "Unbearable Bear" a very close second. "Sniffles takes a Trip" is perhaps the one I like less.

But I vote yes.

Of the few Sniffles cartoons I've seen (those being "Naughty But Mice", "Sniffles Takes a Trip", and "Hush My Mouse"), I'd say his last appearance was his best. By then he was more of a Bugs Bunny-type, using cleverness and fast (and I do mean FAST) talking to get out of predicaments. I haven't seen "Hush My Mouse" in a few years, but I do remember finding it hilarious, and I hope it shows up on DVD in the near future. So yeah, I'd say he's a good character, but only in the right characterization.

I do like Sniffles, although he isn't one of my favourite LT characters. His cartoons were some of the best early Chuck Jones' shorts. The Sniffles cartoons does prove that you can make really good animated shorts without having to be laugh-out-loud funny.

My favourite Sniffles cartoons are:

Naughty But Mice
Sniffles Takes A Trip
Bedtime For Sniffles
Hush My Mouse

On one of my SNL tapes I found this MCI commercial with Michael Jordan and Sniffles in it. This must've been from like '99-'00. :shame: :slow:

That must have been from late '96/early '97. Around the time "Space Jam" came out, MCI did a whole slew of ads with Jordan and the Tunes, including one with Elmer, Sylvester, Tweety, and Daffy singing the horrendous "I Believe I Can Call" song (derived from R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" from the movie), a holiday one featuring Sam, Daffy, and Bugs singing a rewritten version of "Silver Bells", and a third featuring Sniffles talking to Jordan and being unable to shut up.
