... it was also among the things I never really wanted to see in my life. So, I thought I'd share...
It's half-naked Magoo!
I doubt this book flew off the comics rack....
MY EYES! MY EYES!!!
While we're on the topic of disturbing comics, here's an uncensored rarity from 1955 (thanks to Jon!)...:buzzy:

I actually saw that Magoo cover a long time ago, but never commented on it.
To this day, I'm still puzzled as how they got away with this...

Ah, yes, another one of those nightmare-inducing late-period Dell comics from the "We Don't Care How They Look as Long as We Hold Our Share of Newsstand Space!" line. What else can you say about an editorial regime that also (OT) retooled Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Werewolf as "superheroes" with true sub-basement audience appeal, complete with art to match by Tony "Laugh All You Want, But I Still Got All the Work I Needed" Tallarico? And (back on topic) applied a similar sledgehammer touch to not only Magoo, but also Felix and Mighty Mouse as well?? IIRC, the whole line was history by late 1972, and few if any lamented it at that point. :shame:

Somehow I doubt that comics in 1955 used such language in the last panel.
