The following open request is a sort of follow-up to my "open letter to the decisionmakers" thread of some days earlier. Trying to follow through on mbaker's excellent suggestion to say it by snail mail, I next set about to gather the necessary names and addresses for the cable toon programmers who need to be reached with that purple prose.

And I quickly discovered that as those various companies' Websites are currently set up, it'd be easier to pull teeth (no insensitivity intended to anyone who has recently had that done) than to find those relevant names and addresses. (You don't suppose that Speedy Gonzales affair a while back might have caused them all to hide from us, do you? ;) )

Anyway, my point is: If anyone reading this post who does have current listings of the programming contacts at CN, Nick, and/or Disney, and their mailing addresses, would PM them to me, I'd greatly appreciate that! Thanks.

Yeah, there's no way any CEO of any company is going to make their home address available. A better suggestion would be to hand deliver the letter to the building itself. Or, even better than that, a whole slew of people hand delivered their own letters in one huge mob. Y'know, something that will make them take notice without anyone getting pepper-sprayed.

I may be crazy, but I'm not crazy!! :fethry: And one of those corporate towers in question is not very far from where I sit between 9 and 5, but I think I'll snail mail the thing over there anyway.

It's funny. I did call The Disney Channel when they were getting ready to do away with Vault Disney (ie The old Zorro series, The Mickey Mouse Club and the Ink and Paint Club). The person I talked to was snotty and did not seem to care You may want to try Savedisney.com to see if you can get an e-mail address for Disney there.
