Not Yet. And to be Honest, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything on this subject yet, as the Cartoons that were to have their titles restored on V2 we divulged within a month of the first contents report for that set.

I imagine Jerry and company have found, since everything else is so easily leaked, it's one of the things they can keep a delightful secret. :daffy:

An Itch in Time (by Bob Clampett c. 1943) might not have any. In Beck & Friedwald's guide to WB cartoons the forward says "We tried to include as many opening credits as we could. If it was a blue ribbon release, we searched for anyone who had a copy of the original and get the credits from them. If the credits aren't included on a toon then they were nowhere to be found." And, well, AIiT didn't have any credits so they must have never been found. Unless someone's made a discovery since then.

I suppose that the most likeable candidates to have restored original titles are SEPTEMBER IN THE RAIN and PIGS IN A POLKA....

I am only aware of one cartoon having its original titles restored for the Golden Collection, Volume 3.

Is there any effort being put into restoring the later Blue Ribbon releases that have the original title cards intact? There ought to be, because some of them are really a mess, like the ones starting as Merrie Melodies and ending as Looney Tunes...
The only short this time with original titles is DAFFY DUCK & EGGHEAD.

Wow, that's.... disappointing. Iwas really crossing my fingers that at least Pigs and a Polka and Thugs with Dirty Mugs owuld have they're original titles restored.
