I wish I had a link but couldn't find anything. I have every reason to believe that it's serious though because my sister took the time to place a long distance call to me from college about it since she knows I'm a fanatic who gets upset because he's not in more headlines like Bugs.
She said that on a radio news brief this morning it was reported that Woody is watched religiously by a primitive African tribe. They came across a TV somehow while making a rare trip to the city(like farmers went to the city a few times a year maybe?)and got it to run with a generator. They now watch every day in awe according to the witness who discovered this and reported the story.
Now someone needs to alert the idiots at Universal so they'll release him(I'll even take an African release with an alternate menu in US!!![wait...do they have DVDs over there?]).
Also the PC crew needs to be told that African stereotypes are actually fans of the show :woody:
