Which classic animated duck do you like better, Donald or Daffy?

I like Daffy Better.

Daffy has a lot more range, obviously. I think Daffy is funnier, but I suspect Donald is more popular, particularly worldwide. Daffy's taste in clothing (none) makes much more sense than Donald (did they kick him out of the navy but keep the pants?).

As to who would win in a fight, it's been pointed out elsewhere that Daffy would clearly beat Donald in a fight: Daffy loses to opponents who keep their cool (Bugs Bunny, sometimes Porky) but wins against opponents who lose their cool (Elmer, Hitler, sometimes Porky). Since Donald always loses his cool at the drop of a sailor hat, Daffy wins easily.

Daffy wins by the sheer fact that he's usually funnier than Donald.

Daffy is usually funnier in cartoons, but Donald is more popular worldwide. Europeans love their Donald Duck comic books, and with good reason too!

I prefer Daffy Duck in cartoons ( expecially the ones directed by Bob Clampett )and Donald Duck in comics stories ( expecially the ones written and drawn by Carl Barks ).

They both have their merits. It's funny to see Donald angrily go to pieces over the slightest thing, but it's even funnier to see Daffy go absolutely bonkers with no provocation.

Still, put 'em on two pianos in the Ink and Paint Club and it's even harder to take one side over the other.

Daffy Duck is alot wackier but to me Donald Duck shorts have a charm that I just can't get from WB shorts. I do prefer Daffy and the gang over say, a Mickey Mouse or Pluto cartoon.

I like both characters equally well but I'd rather watch a Daffy Duck cartoon over a Donald Duck cartoon, if that makes any sense.
