I thought the SNAFU short Going Home was unreleased?
Is Secrets of the Caribbean really unavailable???

" Unreleased" is intended to mean " not distribuited theatrically".
I suppose you intended it as if it was meaning " unmade" or " never completed".
About " Secrets of the Caribbean" , I looked for it in my years of researches and I was never able to find a copy of it.
I didn't even know if this animated short can be considered " unreleased" ( like " Going Home" or " unmade" ( as, to quote one, Disney's " Interior Decorators" )
That attachment is an interesting sight... A B&W cartoon with a color logo!

So let me see if I am understanding this...
Secrets of the Caribbean was in fact made, but not released theatrically?
If this is correct, what is the possibilty of a print of this short still existing??

I know Going Home was made, I have it... that's where I got the screen cap.
I would just like to know the possibility of Secrets of the Caribbean ever being released

It's no biggie, I just wanted to make sure you knew I had the short & was not asking for it.
Thanks Duck for answering me. As I was confused with thinking that unreleased ment unmade or incomplete. So now I know that there is some hope of one day possibly having a copy of Secret of the Caribbean. Let's all cross our fingers & hope it may turn up on a GC some time.

We have discussed the existence of Secrets of the Caribbean before (e.g, here (http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/showthread.php?t=73) and here (http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/showthread.php?t=2198) and here (http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/showthread.php?t=2659)). Apparently no print has surfaced since, and according to second hand information mentioned in the above threads, the only surviving copy might be somewhere in the vaults of the Library of Congress.
Going Home has been made available on the Complete Uncensored Private Snafu DVD from Bosko Video, but this one is hard to find now, I believe.
