No, it's not a question about the show persay.

However, I'm sure most have noticed that many episodes have been produced based on the premise that was originally meant for a 7 minute cartoon. The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries are of a similar concept except their based on a series of 7 minute shorts.

My query is: What other WB toons would make great and/or creative TV episodes? (It's okay if they're character based or one-shots). My list so far:

Early to Bet
Deduce, You Say
Banty Raids
Slap Hoppy Mouse
Mouse Mazurka
Louvre Come Back to Me
Tobasco Road
Injun Trouble / Wagon Heels
Scalp Trouble / Slightly Daffy
Falling Hare
Porky in Wackyland / Dough for the Do-Do
One Meat Brawl
Martian Through Georgia
The Great Piggy-Bank Robbery
Stupor Duck

Don't forget these classics...

DUCK AMUCK : THE ANIMATED SERIES - Daffy Duck is trapped in a two dimmensional world by Bugs Bunny, and must survive the various misadventures he is placed in by the wascalwy wabbit!

MANY FROGGY EVENINGS : Each week, Michigan J. Frog goes into the hands of a new owner, who tries to make it rich on the camera-shy, singing frog!

The scary thing is, these are probably in the works at WBA...

I think it's about time we see classics like "I Was A Teenage Thumb" and "Bartholomew Versus the Wheel" made into television series.

I would be interesting in seeing a "Crowing Pains" series. Because not only did you have the barnyard gang, but you had Sylvester added to the mix. If done right, this could be a great series/

I think it's about time we see classics like "I Was A Teenage Thumb" and "Bartholomew Versus the Wheel" made into television series. As long as they don't repeat the same story seen in the classic short... A "Bartholomew Vs The Wheel" series might actually be good. :p :shame:

I'm not sure the bible belt would embrace such an idea. Then again, Cartoon Network has a show about the grim reaper, so i guess anything is possible.

The Injun Trouble / Wagon Heels show would work if say the Indians won as many times as the pioneers did. This way not only will Native groups not be offended but many Native artists would probably enjoy working on the series. The worst thing that could be done would be to show either the Indians or the pioneers as strictly evil.

Others that could work:

The Hypochondri-cat
Hyde and Go Tweet
Lighter Than Hare
Operation: Rabbit
I Love to Singa
The Daffy Doc
Bugs and Thugs
Plop Goes the Weasel
Ham in a Role
Back Alley Op-roar

What about "Coal Black: The Series?" It would feature So White and the Sebben Dwarves in a less stereotypical manner (or perhaps in a different stereotypical manner).:sowhite:

It would mot likely be updated to a hip-hop soundtrack.

Actually, I do believe Bosko enters the 'public domain' this year. Someone could easily make a series about him. Much like the one Felix had back in the late '90's.

Just so long as they're drawn on model this time. Don't forget what happened when "Tiny Toon Adventures" brough 'em back - since when were they dogs?

And since when did she do impressions?

We could go on for hours, really. At least "Two Tone Town" pretty much kept Foxy, Roxy, and Goopy Geer intact in terms of their character. But I digress.

Many of the Bosko cartoons are already in the public domain (witness the Bosko DVDs out there) due to WB not renewing the copyrights. However, my understanding is that the public domain boundaries have been pushed back thanks to the Sonny Bono Act (thanks to lobbyists like Disney) to something like 100 years for copyrights owned by corporations and 75 years post-mortem for copyrights owned by individuals.

Remember Mickey appeared before Bosko and Mickey is nowhere near entering "the public domain" yet.
