Hi there--
I apologize if someone has posted on this topic already, but I noticed a few new Digiview DVD's at my local Wal-Mart today. Not all of them were under the "Cartoon Craze" title, but there were several animated ones. The bad news is, they didn't look too exciting at all. I only saw four "Cartoon Craze" discs made up of theatrical shorts, and there was a lot of re-hash between them. One was Popeye (mostly color Famous shorts-you know the ones), one was Tom and Jerry (Van Buren), one was another Bugs Bunny disc with "Falling Hare," and one was called "Cartoon All-Stars Volume One," which was a mixed disc of stuff you already have elsewhere.
As with the last batch, there were a few discs' worth of animated films from around the world, most notably "Alice In Wonderland In Paris," "Dot and the Kangaroo," and two others which were so ordinary-looking, I don't recall their names (one was an Ali Baba film of some sort).
If anyone can post details on these new discs, please do. I picked up "Alice in Wonderland In Paris" because I had read about it on this forum (Gene Deitch I believe?), but sadly, nothing else. Too bad, but Digiview has finally reached the bottom of the barrel!
