Don't be too hard on Sogturtle. It was just an oversight, and nothing personal. And I think you've had some great insights here, and I've enjoyed reading your posts too.

As for the "Playboy Magazine Presents the Women of The Golden Age Cartoon Forums" idea, bring 'em on! They could pose us at an animation drawing board, or in a theater showing cartoons or...On second thought, maybe that isn't such a great idea after all. :eek:

I haven't been here very long (thanks for noticing me, Sogturtle!) but I really enjoy this forum. It's so much more civilized than many other TV/entertainment forums that I don't dare come out of lurking on. What was that about cartoons making people violent? :befuddled

My daughter and I love watching classic cartoons, both on DVDs and videos and on TV (a local cable channel shows public domain cartoons every morning). Thanks to you enablers, I now own both LT Golden Collections and a pile of discount store DVDs. These films really are wonderful and it's a shame how they've been neglected and worse, chopped up for political correctness.

My own PERSONAL preference is always "angel" ;) , which smoothes things out for both foul-ups:eek: and future messes:D (though "babe" works well too on a personal basis).

Yeah I think it's a terrific idea that we ALL have some clothes on around here!!!;) [And speaking as a man, the thought of a bunch of dirty, smelly unbathed males sittin' around "nekkid" in front of their computers has GOT to be one of the grosser mental images conjured up in a lonnnnnng time!!!!:D Especially when the idea of gastrointestinal noises gets factored into the picture!:p ]
