Before GAC becomes public, let's make a special thread for the creators to this great classic cartoons board! It really looks like a nice place to talk our favorite toons and it shows they made a great effort to it! Two thumbs up! ;) :)
That, and I'm curious to know who else got the honor of seeing this before the Grand Opening. :D

I'm glad you like it so far (more will be coming soon). But, really, in all fairness, the most credit should go to Jon. If it weren't for him there would be no GAC forums or not even a GAC!
-Pietro:daffy:
Aren't you all glad GAC didn't turn out to be a puppet after all?
But Pietro is right, Jon Cooke had been wanting to do an online community devoted solely to classic cartoons for a while, and the opportunity finally presented itself. Brian Cruz has also been very helpful and supportive.

Hi Guys,
Glad to be aboard.
I was chosen as one of the TTTP regulars who got a chance to see GAC before everyone else. My thanks and praise to the creators, you did a wonderful job.
(And as for me, I've only started the recovery process of my oral surgery which took place 8 hous ago.... )

Yeah, GAC is showing great signs of promise of being THE classical animation forum of the web. It already was begun with the right premise, by those who really love the artform.
Two Thumbs up to you guys!

I just posted an incredibly long thread congratulating everyone involved and offering my assessment as well as a couple of questions I had, but I was mysteriously logged out before I could submit, which redirected me to a login screen and all was lost.. GAC!
I'll sum it all up with a smiling Bosko head...
:bosko:
It Looks Great!!!
Hope to see all the regulars posting here, I have a few questions but I'll save them for later cause to be quite honest, I'm sick of typing!
Let's use this thread as a role call for "new" old members...

A Shout Out to the Host of Creators and Behind-the-Scenes Boosters Who Have Worked Themselves Down to the Bedrock to Give Us GAC!
Congratulations, Jon, Matthew, Jack, Thad, Pietro, Dan, and David, on your unveiling of the finest vintage toon Web site within the sound of my voice. Long and proudly may the GAC flow.
And, as before, there will be a Geezil deeply honored to do a little whitewater rafting down these rapids every now and then.

Dang, it's a shame I wasn't able to see GAC earlier today. I was in Pennsylvania because my mommy had to have surgery. But now I'm finally able to be online, and everything is great! It's weird though. I think the acroynm GAC would be all obvious to us as Golden Age Cartoons. Oh, well. This went over all our heads!:p
My deepest regards to everyone in the boards, to my buddies and comrades from the old TTTP, and to the new members of the new TTTP.
LET'S ROCK AND ROLL!!!!

I like it...it's built like the old Toon Zone, but redesigned in the style of Windows XP. Plus the extra smilies rule! It's nice actually having the ones you need.

This is just my first post here to the new forum. There's just so much to see and do here, I don't even know where to begin. I had alot of trouble just getting my avatar to be just right. And where's the spot where you can put custom titles?
Anyway, I'm glad to see what all this GAC business is all about, and now that I have more time during all this week (vacation), I'll get to explore this site and all its worth.
Of course, the TTTP will always be the #1 destination for me. :tweety:
