This is quite simple. We all know how the classic Chuck Jones Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons go. Here, we will write one of them by making our own gags of the Coyote constantly failing to catch the elusive bird.

Just to keep the chain faithful to the Chuck Jones classics, follow these rules:

1.- The Roadrunner doesn't hurt the Coyote, except by scaring him with the "Beep, Beep"
2.- No other characters on the cartoon, except for an ocassional bus/train-driver.
3.- No dialogue in the cartoon.

And that's it. Also, post only one scene (gag) per post. You may add as many scenes as you want, but don't double-post, wait at least for one person to contribute before you continue.

I'll start, here it goes:

LOONEY TUNES
"ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET, ZOOM"

The Coyote is seen on one side of the road opening a box that reads "ACME Motorized Scooter". He takes the scooter out and tests it by stepping on it. The Coyote hears the Roadrunner's "Beep, Beep" in the distance and as soon as the bird runs by the Coyote, he lights a match and places it near the back of the scooter. The scooter blasts off at supersonic speed behind the Roadrunner, and the chase is on.

The Coyote (Carnivorous- Untalkativus) quickly gets the hang of the scooter as he chases the Roadrunner (Rapidus-Fantasticus) down the desert roads. They both make lots of curves and turns until suddenly, the Roadrunner approaches a dead end and freezes in the edge of the cliff, the Coyote, however, does not stop and goes straight forward.

The Coyote looks behind him and notices the Roadrunner waving him goodbye. The Coyote then looks down and notices a huge canyon with a river hundreds of feet below him. However, the momentum carried by the scooter is enough to get the Coyote into a different cliff and safe across the gap.

The Coyote looks again behind him and smiles in relief as he keeps moving in the scooter through land. However, he doesn't notice another cliff coming right to him, and this time, he inmediatly falls, getting separated from the scooter. The Coyote hits rock bottom, making a hole in the ground, as he stands up and looks up, he notices the falling scooter coming right at him. He pulls out an umbrella to cover his head, but the scooter falls at his side, narrowly missing him, and pointing the escape tube right at him.

The Coyote slowly turns his head and looks at the scooter, he starts to laugh, but all of a sudden, an explosion comes out of the escape tube, like a gunshot, right into the Coyote's face, leaving him completely blackened and dazzled.

Now it's time for you guys to continue...

Wile E hammers a sign saying "Drive Slowly And Quietly! Avalanche Risk!" on the road and waits behind a corner. When the Roadrunner arrives and walks instead of running, Wile E leaps out onto the road in front of him. Unfortunately a real avalanche starts to fall on top of the coyote. Instead of getting crushed Wile E makes off and runs, with thousands of rocks following him. Wile E stupidly runs off a cliff and falls onto two boulders set up like a see-saw. The pile of rocks lands on the oppisite side of the see-saw propelling the coyote up into the air, passing an aircraft. Unfortunately he lands on top of the pile of (jagged) rocks and gets kebabed and crushed. Crawling out from under the pile he thinks up his next plan....

Establishing shot of a large and empty wooden crate. Stenciled on one side are the words "One (1) Acme Thresher - Rip Cord Activated". Pan to Wile E. admiring the thresher as it sits behind a large rock situated next to the road. He listens for the Road Runner approacing and holds the thresher's rip cord in anticipation, but the Road Runner zips up behind him and - "Beep Beep!" - startles him into jumping ten feet off the ground, taking the cord with him. The Road Runner takes off, and Wile E. prepares to follow, but the pull on the cord has started the thresher, which promptly runs Wile E. over. Wile E. walks away, his fur torn off in great patches, when he stops dead in his tracks and looks at the audience malevolently, another scheme in his head about to unfold...
