I've seen this show a few times. I thought I'd post some good about it since I always blast the unfunny Disney theatrical shorts. This show IS funny. There are even moments of WB esque comedy in this show. The dialogue is razor sharp. Some of it is as fast and funny as Seinfeld without the adult humor.
The gags are creative and sometimes even violent. That's the biggest similarity with WB in my opinion. The in between segments are fun. It's good to see the old faces. My only complaint is how they've dulled up the nephews to look like teeny bopper idols but other than that this is an excellent show.

I like "House of Mouse" too! (It's better than "Mickey Mouse Works") One of the shorts, "Purple Pluto" is very funny! And "Mickey and the Goat Man" was very much like classic cartoons!

Even worse: in "Quack Pack" (a series from 90's), Huey, Dewey and Louie are turned into three modern boys who fight all the time!

I've seen this show a few times, but mostly back when it was called "Mickey's Mouse Works". Regardless, it can be pretty darn funny, and the animation is excellent considering it's a weekly TV series. The style of humor is more grounded in Warner Bros. than Disney, though to be honest, there's nothing really wrong with that (seems to work in Philo & Gunge's fanfiction, anyway).

I noticed that, too. Yeah, Looney Tunes humor has a big presence in that fanfic. Hell, :bugs2: even makes a cameo (read it, it's up!). It was even a MouseWorks short that was the inspiration of the story.
As for "House of Mouse," I sorta like it. It has a very "Muppet Show" feel to it and I apreciatte that.
