It's Hummer Time. Do we ever learn what that Cat's name is?

I'll go with A FRACTURED LEGHORN.

"I'll shut up! I'm not one ta keep talking! Some folks don't know when to shut up. My pa used to tell me to shut up and I'd shut up! One time I almost starved to death! Didn't tell him I was hungry!":foggy:

Early to Bet. ("No! Not [fill in the blank] ...!" Just priceless.) :D

I prefer "It's Hummer Time" to "Early to Bet," largely because I prefer the hummingbird (kind of a singing version of the early Tweety) to the gambling bug. So I went with that one. But I like all of these; I really like McKimson's early, quirky cartoons with odd characters like the cat and the pleasant-talking grey dog.

I picked A Fractured Leghorn. It's Foggy at his "Foggy"-est. Plus, the cat does a perfect straight performance to underscore Foghorn's rants. An absolute masterpiece. :foggy:

That's why I can't vote for just one! They're all excellent cartoons!

Early To Bet (the one with the gambling bug) IMO is a cartoon that I grew to appreciate as I became older. When I was a kid, I didn't get what it was about and if it didn't have the LT characters I knew (i.e., BUgs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, etc), then I wasn't interested.

It's Hummer Time is a good one too, but for some reason, I can't get past the title because I know it's a pun on "it's summer time", but by today's perverted standards, that title means something that I can't say here.

I voted for "A Fractured Leghorn," which is definitely the best Foghorn Leghorn cartoon.
