I just saw this in Boomerang for the first time. This is by far the best of "those" Tom and Jerry's. This is a real hit. It seems "cool" to blast the 60s Tom and Jerry's but they're all fun if nothing else. I mean, they're not up there with my favorites but I still like most of them.

This one in particular was like the long lost Chuck Jones and Tex Avery project. The eerieness and gags like when Tom turns into a flower are right out of Chuck's book. The animals switching bodies is all Tex. The ending was even good for one extra laugh like alot of WB shorts.

It was a creepy little short, with the cheap animation and those annoying sound effects...yikes!

Of all the Deitch's T&J efforts, I think I like "Dickie Moe" better.

If I had to choose one "hit" among the Gene Deitch T&Js, "Carmen Get It!" is about the only one that would qualify. (Ironic that it was also the last of those to be released.)
