I've been wondering this for a while. The final Peanuts strips (1/3/00 for the daily, 2/13/00 for the Sunday) both featured Snoopy at the typewriter with a farewell message from Charles Schulz. Does anybody know what the final "regular" strips are? I can't find them on line.

For that matter, anyone know how long they're going to run the classic Peanuts strips in the newspapers? This past Sunday's (8/7/05) was a true classic Snoopy moment.

Well, in case of the Sunday page, the final regular strip was the annual St Valentine's Day episode which was run a week early due to the closing page.

Interesting. Thanks. Wish I could see these.

Well, Barb, in another fifteen years or so I'm sure they will be available in the Complete Peanuts reprint volume.

;)

ALK, thanks for the link (I really do appreciate it), but it's the last >"regular"< strips I'm looking for. I've searched Snoopy.com, but I can't find them. Any other suggestions?

I have the last regular strip in a book. I'll see about scanning them, unless someone else will before me.

Thanks for posting those, Charles; I own the book that contains those. I think every comic strip made from 1996 to 2000 was released in order in those Ballantine collections.

Hmmmm. I really don't know if they'll put later 90s-2000 strips in Complete Peanuts volumes since the strips from those years already exist in other books.
(Ex: "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night, Snoopy," "The World According to Lucy," etc.)
