Hey, I just checked out the Boomerang website on CN.com and it looks like there's no way to order it, just request it. I was wondering if I did request it, what the chances of actually having it added to the channel lineup were and wether or not it would be a part of basic cable or expanded basic cable.
Thanks for any help.

Requesting your cable provider for Boomerang has been proven futile for about 5 years now. (Believe me, I've tried!) Your only chance of getting the channel is getting a satellite dish, sadly.

Futile, maybe, but I haven't stopped trying with Cablevision (yet). ;)

Not to mention convincing the city to knock down all nearby skyscrapers and highrises.

Not necessarily so! My cable company (Time-Warner of Greensboro, NC) carries Boomerang, and has since January 2004, which is really something, especially since my cable company is one of the slowest T-W systems to add new channels! :D

Our cable company (Time-Warner in Houston) added Boomerang recently, too.
