Wait Till Your Father Gets Home

Now many people said about how 1970s and beyond Hanna-Barbera cartoons all sucked, but I begged to differ.

Sure, it had a lot of Scooby Doo ripoffs, but what about THIS little HB series called "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home"? I admit, I haven't seen it years, but this was pretty good series. Pretty refreshing for a HB cartoon.

With all the Hanna-Barbera cartoons being released on DVD, I hope THIS one will be one of it.

All I remember about it is that I loved it as a kid and watched it whenever possible. If it were to come out on DVD I'd rent it and if I still think it's a good series, I'd then buy it.

Heck, I'd buy the complete set immediately. That had to be the gutsiest Hanna-Barbera series of them all.

(OK, the gutsiest comedic H-B series of them all ... nobody's going to catch me dissing "Jonny Quest Mark I" anytime soon.)

Maybe i'm of a certain age ( 39) but i remember this and it was definatly one of my favorites . If i remember correctly it was on about 5.30 - just in time to get in after playing out after school and be called in for my tea.


I know that i was at school but i'm sure some of the stuff on this was definatly pushing the limits of what you can get away with on TV .

if i am right this is the show that inspried Family Guy, it showed up on CN in the mid 90's, and even late nite TBS, in the late 80's.

i seem to remember one of the voices was mr. C from Happy Days, he did the voice of the father. If i member right it was a prime time series in the
early 70's, and i think even showed up on Cartton Express in the late 80s' before Turner bought out HB.

it was in a unique class, that should be brought to AS on Cn.

I found this to be alittle funny the family from wait till your father.. kinda resembles that of family guy what do you think?
