I don't know. I couldn't bring up the schedule very well and couldn't pay much attention to the commercial, I was just surprised to see that little wild haired Austrailian native on tv. If anyone can find out if and when this short is coming on or just when the marathon is, it would be greatly appreciated.:)

in the first volume of the looney tunes golden collection we had "frigid hare", i hope we'll be lucky enough to have,in the next volume, some of these rarely showed cartoons like "bushy hare", "missisippi hare" (which is a classic and it's not shown only becasue there are some blacks character cotton picking at the beginning...), "which is whitch" etc.....

I Want Boomerang:(
I know that feeling
For the record, if BUSHY HARE airs, it won't be it's first airing on a Turner network. It aired on CN in 2000 in a McKimson June Bugs block at three in the morning. I remember, because it was the same year WHICH IS WITCH was pulled at the last minute. (Oh and because I taped it...)

I see no no's on BOOM all the time, like the Jones cartoon that shows Africans running around in a cluster with just their legs flapping and dust everywhere. I saw it during the LT marathon last year. I saw a few more but they escape me at the moment. That's the only time I'd seen them. They're simply lesser known cartoons so I guess all the censors care about is cancelling junk that we like...jerks.
I saw Plane Daffy on BOOM during a LT show, also, not to long ago.
Of course, I don't know what all is edited but on the unpopular cartoons there was plenty of stuff that should have been edited, in theory of the censors, but were not. I bet the clueless censors don't know those cartoons exist.

It would be nice if they aired "Bushy Hare", but I doubt they will. Boomerang has a habit of showing clips in their ads of cartoons they never air (for example, I remember seeing clips of "His Mouse Friday" during ads for their Tom & Jerry marathons awhile back).

Plane Daffy was shown quite a few times last year. I think the first day I got Boomerang it came on. The ending where Hitler's general's are supposed to shoot themselves was censored. The scene where the dumb bird reveals allied secrets and is offered a gun to shoot himself is not censored.

Probably has more to do with the fact that Boomerang isn't widely available. You can only get it on satellite and on some digital cable tiers, so it's not all out there in the mainstream like CN is. That's probably why the programmers take the occasional gamble like that. They still have to be careful, because, after all, it is a channel owned by a huge conglomerate in the uber-sensitive world of 2005, but they can let things slip on occasion like that.
