I seen this cartoon today. I don't know if the 1998 version includes the uncut gag of Russian Roulette. Anyway, the version aired today in Rai Due is the 1998 version, the final gag is: Yosemite takes a gun and shoot, Bugs Bunny thakes the gun and an iris obscure the scean. A shoot sound heard. An iris shows Bugs Bunny and another iris shows Yosemite Sam. Is this the original uncut version?

I remember that the first time that I seen this cartoon was in 1992 when I was 4, on Canale5. If I remember good, when Bugs takes the gun there was a fade in black, then the fade shows this scean:

I think that was a Canale 5 cut.

Original version (available on Looney Tunes: Golden Collection):

Bugs and Yosemite Sam decide to try russian roulette. Yosemite Sam puts the gun to his head, but no bullet comes out. Bugs then puts the gun to his head, we see the iris closing and when the picture is black, we hear a shot in the background. Iris then re-opens, to show us that Bugs missed and Yosemite Sam actually got shot. Yosemite Sam says "I hate rabbits" and the iris closes.

Did the version you saw have this copyright on the "That's all Folks!"-card?

Cartoons with "DUBBED VERSION" or "THIS VERSION" copyrights appear on many Looney Tunes-videos and can be still seen on Cartoon Network. Versions on DVDs have original "That's all Folks"-cards.

I've never seen the point of Warner Bros. putting that "This Version" notice on the end of a few cartoons. At least with the "Dubbed Version" it was actually put there for a reason.
