Just wanted to remind everyone(that lives in the metropolitan area) that at the Museum Of Modern Art, will be showcasing from the George Eastman House's archive of American silent animation tomorrow afternoon.New York City's "first" big classic cartoon screening of the year will present some of the rarest pieces of silent animation from "Felix" to "Aesop's Fables" to "Mutt And Jeff" to "Oswald The Lucky Rabbit" and much, much more.
The screening starts at 2pm tomorrow afternoon and I'm really hoping that our Local New Yorker GAC members will attend this special showcase.
The Museum Of Modern Art is located at
11 w. 53rd St (between fifth and sixth avenue)
Telephone: 212-708-9480
Also there will be a 4pm screening of classic Mack Sennett silent two reeler shorts at MOMA after the silent toon show.
Hope to see ya gang!
