Wow, I was just looking at the Flintstones cover art, and Barney's eyes scare me a lot...

These sets look great though, it's nice that they'll be cheaper this time.

Wow, I was just looking at the Flintstones cover art, and Barney's eyes scare me a lot...That will likely change when the DVD comes out.

That's not even a new piece of art... I'm sure it's been used elsewhere. And I wish someone would tell them the characters weren't designed to be drawn head-on like that.

EDIT: Not to be negative. I'm still eagerly anticipating this release, and it'll be nice to have audio commentary... UNLIKE LAST TIME.

(whoops. Did it again.)

I am really looking forward to the Top Cat set myself. It's one of my favorite H-B shows (and one I didn't think we'd see on DVD so soon!). The extras sound really good. The cover is nice, too.

WB's Hanna-Barbera DVD releases keep getting better. I can't wait for Huck and Yogi now.

I'm wondering if the spots for One-A-Day Vitamins , Welch's Grape Jelly, Kitchen Rich Cookies, and Carnation Evaporated Milk were made durring the show's original run? The only classic "Flintstones" spot i've seen was the Winston Ciggaretes one, and that was online. However, i did see a clip of it on an educational tape in science class about the dangers of tobaco. This was when i was in high school. Anyway, it's nice to hear that Jerry Beck is gonna be involved on the "Top Cat" set. As well as having some interviews with Arnold Stang, and Marvin Kaplin.

I wish you could turn off the laugh track but these look great. We get Jerry Beck doing commentary on Top Cat. I heard there will there be coupons with these. Is that still true. Because I haven't been able to pick up Flintstones or Looney Tunes because they were way more money than Batman Vol. 1 which I decided to get instead.

December 7th? That's the same day that released Garfield & Friends Vol. 2!! :)

That's nice that Jerry Beck comments 3 Top Cat episodes but i believe that he's interested only classic theatrical shorts

That is excellent news!

I'm really looking forward to the Top Cat DVD. It is my all-time favourite H-B show. There seems to be a fantastic collection of extras. I see there is a commentary track on "A Visit From Mother". Excellent choice. It is my favourite TC episode.

I'm also going to pre-order my copy of the Flintstones: Season 2 DVD.

Looks like December is going to be a very expensive month, if you include the Disney Treasures DVDs.

Wow. Looks great!

I hope Loopy deLoop will be released on DVD sometime too. Since that was theatrical, maybe the quality will be different.

Wasn't 'Wacky Races' also confirmed or was that coming in a later wave of Hanna Barbera releases?
