I am proud to annouce a first glimpse of my film discovery of the long lost silent Krazy Kat cartoons that were made between 1925 to 1929 from the Charles B. Mintz studios. Now foe the first time in over seventy six years, here are these images from the 1925 Bill Nolan short "SEARCHING FOR SANTA" and my own personal favorite, "THE STORK EXCHANGE" (1927).
Now the first image for SFS" was originally released here in the states by FBO Film Booking offices, while the Pathe Film Exchange oversaw the European releases. When Mintz left FBO for a better distribution deal, he landed a deal with Paramount/Famous Lasky Corp. in 1927 with the release of "TSE".What I'm really proud is that the last two Krazy Kat(and SLEEPY HOLLER) one reelers has their original Paramount titles.

Special Thanks to Pietro for suppling these images!
