What characters should have their own discs on next Golden Collection?

I think a large portion of the next Golden Collection should be devoted to the Friz Freleng :bugs2: :ysam: cartoons.
Another choice would be :bosko:

Multiple choices allowed.
If you want to vote for other characters, choose "All-Stars Disc".

I SUPPOSE THAT THEY'LL BE:
BUGS
DAFFY
SPEEDY GONZALES AND FRIENDS(like the goofy gophers with classics like their fisrt short, mckimson's fine hour in a ham in a role and the frleng efforts)
ASSORTED CHARACTERS
Chow Hound

I'd like to see a Foghorn Leghorn disc, and an All-Stars disc with the Goofy Gophers, Hubie and Bertie, and the Three Bears. I'd like to see a Sylvester disc too, but not another Sylvester & Tweety disc (although there could be some on the disc).

I don't think Goofy Gophers or Sniffles have enough cartoons to warrant their own disc, do they? They work better mixed in as part of an All-Stars disc, so I voted for Bugs, Foghorn and All-Stars.

I voted Porky Pig. I think his status as first breakout star character merits a full DVD. Plus, this way we can get some of the Clampett black & whites restored.

I think that there should be a disc devoted to that stuttering pig Porky, especially the early ones in which Mr. Dougherty performed, but also cartoons inwhich Mr. Blanc performed the voice of Porky Pig. I would also love to see a disc devoted to Tex Avery, who has been severely under represented in the first two box sets of "Looney Tunes" Golden collection. To tell you the truth, fewer Jones and Freleng, because it would be best if they left some for later sets. I do wonder when the later sixties cartoons, towards the end of the original era of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, will be released, in specific Cool Cat and Merlin the Magic Mouse, among others. Although I am not saying that these cartoons are the best in the large output of cartoons from the great Warner Brothers, but still it would be best to have a wide variety of cartoons from every era of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, both very early (Bosko, Buddy) and the very late (Cool Cat, Speedy and Daffy etc.) Regardless, I can't wait to see what cartoons actually will be released on the next set.

I would love to see some of the old Porky Pig cartoons restored.

Yeah, I voted for Porky before I read any of this...mostly because quite a few also feature Daffy and are somewhat uncommon, especially in their original B/W presentation. The one character I really want to see in the next set is Speedy Gonzales, but he wasn't one of the choices.

I think there should be Goofy Gophers (I like those cartoons, actually).
But since there wern't many, and the fact that one of the shorts was already released, they should include Foghorn Leghorn to fill up the disk.

You're kidding, right? Tell me, do you also prefer Joe Besser over Curly Howard?

Disc One: Best of Porky and Daffy vol. 2.
Disc Two: Best of Foghorn & Speedy (6 from each, and a couple of miscellaneous McKimsons at the end - Hippety Hopper included!)
Disc Three: Best of Pepe Le Pew & Friends (rounded off with some miscellaneous Chuck Jones toons - Sniffles and the Bookworm and Inki and the Minah Bird would be nice, if unlikely.)
Disc Four: All Stars vol. 3.

I really hope that they have another Daffy disc. Maybe with his first 2 cartoons!
That would be fantastic!
:daffy:
They ALWAYS have an all star disc too, and maybe they'll have some more bridging sequences from the Bugs Bunny Show!:daffy: :bugs2:
