What do you think about CN Tom and Jerry-cartoon "The Mansion Cat" by Karl Toerge? :tomcat: :jerry: I think it was awful cartoon. Only thing I liked in it was that Spike returned in that short too. And it was interesting that Joseph Barbera did voices...

Well, I'll probably be in the minority on this but I enjoyed it. Not thrilled by it, but it was a worthwhile effort. :tomcat: :jerry:

It is certainly not as good as most of the original MGM Tom & Jerry films, but I didn't expect it to be. The photos of Hanna and Barbera in the background and the use of Joe Barbera as the voice of the master we nice touches.

I wondered who were in the photos...

I've seen it, and I didn't think much of it. The story and animation were decent, but the backgrounds were awful and gaudy with too much of one colour in a certain area. The music was pretty bad too. I did like the fact that Joe Babara voiced himself and that it was set in his mansion.

this is the first time that jerry is one of the house(unlike the mammy shorts when she ask tom to get rid of jerry)

I wasn't expecting much when I saw it back in 2001, but it was a worthwhile effort, and definitley better than anything spawned after 1958. Spike's cameo made me laugh, though I agree that it was really too artsy-fartsy.
