Howdy all,
I'm trying to identify the cartoon this animation cel comes from.
I picked it up on Ebay a few years back and the seller said it was
from Clampett's Republic years. The story goes: Bob gave these to
friends who worked at Republic as gifts. It was sold as one of a
series of related cels. It's A Grand Old Nag perhaps?
Any help would be appreciated!

Clampettnut~
Bob of course only made one cartoon for Republic release, namely "It's A Grand Old Nag"... I have some of the model sheets from it (and well, I have nearly the same cel as one of those). Bob also gave autographed cels from Beany and Cecil to some folks back in the early Sixties.

Thanks sogturtle. I thought I had heared he made some other stuff for Republic and I wasn't even sure if this was from It's A Grand Old Nag or even from a Clampett cartoon at all so I appreciate the information!
As much as I love the cel I'm thinking he should be in the hands of someone
who can preserve it better than I. I don't want to break any board rules but
what I really want are cartoons!
