Surfing in Big Cartoon Movie Database site, I seed lots of infos about new Looney Tunes. What is happening at Warner Bros studios? Lots of new Looney Tunes were storied and storyboarderd but not producted. According to the site, the last Looney Tune relased is "My Generation G.....G....Gap". Why Warner Bros is not actually producing more Looney Tunes? Marbe because WB animation studio's must produce episodes of Loonatics?

You got that right. Studio politics, and lots of it. (Sort of like what's left behind after the circus parade passes through the Lincoln Tunnel at 3:30 AM.)

Veteran "Simpsons" writer Larry Doyle was in charge of those new cartoons, as well as the script of "Looney Tunes: Back in Action", but Warner Bros. fired him as quickly as they could and rewrote everything he came up with. Why? It was too much like the "Looney Tunes" are supposed to be, rather than how Warner Bros. wants them to be.

Only six of the twenty-plus cartoons that Doyle was supposed to spearhead were made, and according to those who've seen them, they're pretty bad.

And how is it exactly that WB wants them to be?

Dumbed down, lowest common denominator, politically correct CRAP (with as many fart jokes as possible). Just an educated guess.

There nothing worng with PC , but Warner Brothers has taken it so far as banning cartoons nobody has complained about. For example, when speedy was banned, Mexicans actually said there upset becuase they like him. The WB claimed it was a mexican stero type , but ummm..when has mexicans been associated with speed ? ( drum and cymbol)

Speedy Gonzales was never banned. It's just that for a while, CN decided not to show the cartoons too often.

And when did Mexicans complain? That seems highly unlikely since CN Latin America never stopped airing Speedy.

I said they didn't complain...Oh wait, what I meant to say was mexicians were upset that Speedy was not being shown.

There is everything wrong with PC. It's censorship. It's someone somewhere being offended by something and people that don't find it offensive (or that do, but are willing to put up with it because they like other aspects of it) can't ever see it. The end result is that free speech is stifled.

Going back to the Doyle shorts...

I liked Whizzard of Ow, a Doyle-produced Coyote/Road Runner short directed by Bret Haaland. I think it got much closer to the original Jones/Maltese collaborations than anything else in recent times (including the Chuck Jones Chariots of Fur).

The only other one I've seen, Museum Scre-um (sp?), was much more uneven, and probably exposes more of the micromanagement spoilage.

no there is not everthing wrong with PC, I don't want to be called ******. Saying the word black is more PC. I think that the censored 11 should be released along with other banned LT cartoons becuase that was the times. Timnes have changed and we know better not to make cartoons like that again. But unfortunetly ,PC has been taken way to far.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be sensitive to other's feelings and acting accordingly, in fact I think that's a great thing. But that has to come from within people. There is everything wrong with trying to impose a certain way of thinking and acting on the public, which is what the PC movement is doing. Read Orwell's "1984" for a look at where this is all headed.

saying word black is more PC then saying the other word. It was more socially acceptable to say the...other word and times have changed. Thats why its called Politicially correct, But in terms of humor, I think PC really shoudln't be used cause its a joke. It isn't a type of hate speech, for example during the time of All in the Family, people were smart enough to laugh even though we were offened cause it was just a joke. Now people have become so dumb, they can't even take a joke.
