Does anyone remember the redrawn version of this cartoon? Whenever I saw it, the end gag was missing. In other words, after the waterspout dissipated, the cartoon would abruptly jump cut to the end title. It wasn't until Nickeloeden started showing the computer colored version that I saw the full ending for the first time, in which Porky finally gets even with a pesky fish by squirting him with seltzer, and irising out on the fish doing a Stan Laurel-esque sob fest.

Was this end gag missing from ALL copies of the traced version? Or just the station(s) that I saw it on. I DO know that the redrawns are known for missing some scenes. Maybe that just the way the fake version is. Anyone know?

Most likely, it just wasn't a part of the final redrawn version at all. Scenes were often taken out of the redrawn cartoons because they couldn't be properly reconstructed, or something. A lof of the time, what they left IN wasn't constructed very well (the characters sliding all over the place to catch up with the moving backgrounds; or randomly freezing, then speeding up to catch up), so I can't imagine how bad those scenes must have looked so they had to be cut completely.

I know in Porky's Railroad, a few parts after the start of their race were missing from the redrawn version--the silverfish flies by a log pile, causing logs to fly everywhere; and flying through a tunnel, turning it inside out.
