Am I the only one who hasn't been able to access the site since last month?

I'm able to go there without any problems. And I know I was there a couple of times during the past week or so...

Actually, I have not been able to access it at all. This has happened for over a month now, and is getting on my nerves.

Maybe they decided to block us Canadians?

I've needed to look up certain titles/dates recently and it's somewhat frustrating. I wonder why we're experiencing this Saranczuk..?

I think it's possible they blocked Canada. They blocked Japan by accident when they tried to block China, so I couldn't access there at all until I finally straighten it out.

you can email them by submissions@bcdb.com

I cannot understand a blocking of Canada considering that at least one of the moderators is Canadian.

I just wrote a review for a cartoon on the BCDB and had no problems whatsoever.

Well, I'm Canadian and I've been able to access the site today without any problem. Maybe the site was just having technical difficulties.

What browser are you using? I use two browsers, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is great for most sites, but I've noticed it does act a little wierd on particular sites. When I switch to IE, I have no problems with those sites.

I would also suggest you try another browser, or update the browser you're using if you haven't already done so lately.

I noticed the original poster of this thread (MF TOON) lives in Montreal. I also happen to live close to the Montreal region. (The South Shore) Maybe this region for some reason has a problem.

Hey Saranczuk,

I was actually just joking about the regional blocking... I doubt that's the case because I believe as Ray pointed out that one of the moderators also lives close by. I guess it could be possible though..?

What browser are you using Saranczuk?

I think Barb might be onto something... I've switched over to Mozilla this past year and while it's been great for the most part, it does have a few bugs to be worked out and I've had trouble accessing certain web features. I'm 99% sure I've visited the BCDB before using Firefox though, so I'm not really sure... I'll try IE and see if that works.

Otherwise, maybe we should email Dave and ask whats up..

I haven't got any problems with it. BTW, one day, about a week ago, I couldn't access at all the GAC forums website. Did anyone have the same problem?

Sorry to bring this post up again, but I can somehow finally access the BCDB. Can all of you who could not be able to access it now?

Not for me. I can't access it at all.

How come Dave Koch is blocking his site from certain countries?

MF TOON

I still can't access it either.

On IE or Mozilla.
