Hi guys,
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in 36 kids' records I have here. They are slightly worn and have no sleeves, are 33 1/3 RPM but they include things like Peter Pan records, Sesame Street, Scholastic, Streisand, Kenner's Give a Show projector records, and some others.
$10 postpaid should cover them.
Let me know! (email or PM)

Tom, I might be interested in some of those records, mainly for sampling but could you post an exact list. Is it just the inner sleeves missing or do they come in record jackets and if not, what do you ship them in? Anyways, I was looking for a number of older 70's Jim Henson LP's and possibly some others but not if they're totally warped or worn out. LMK Tom!
Thanks.

Hey there,
The records aren't in anything, just a pile of them. For shipping I guess I'd wrap them up and surround with popcorn in a nice box- I'd try my best to protect them.
Here they are:
1. Harold's Fairy Tale pts 1 and 2, 1974 Weston Woods
2. Thumbelina 1 and 2- Wonderland
3. Concerto for Toys and Orchestra (3 songs, 45rpm)
4. Peter Pan Book and Record: (no book) Pinnochio
5. Golden Records: Sailor/Ship songs 1966
6. Ronald McDonald Alphabet 1983
7. Peter Pan: Do Re Mi (4 songs)
8. Peter Pan Book and Record (no book): Tortoise & Hare 1976
9. Mr Pickwick: Somewhere Over the Rainbow and more
10. Gordon of Sesame St.: A Lot of Hot Water 1971
11. Book and Record (no book): Gingerbread Man
12. " (no book): Richard, the Sharp Eared Reindeer
13. Ernie & Bert: Pat Pat Patty Pat 1974
14. Romper Room Physical Fitness
15. Pinnochio 1970
16. Scholastic: Puss In Boots 1967
17. Ernie & Bert: Grover Takes a Walk 1973
18. Scholastic: Jack and the Beanstalk 1970
19. Sesame Street Original Cast: Rub Your Tummy 1974
20. Book and Record (no book) Ugly Duckling
21. Barbra Streisand: Evergreen, Memory
22. Sound of Music: Do Re Mi (Peter Pan record)
23. Peter Pan: Old Mother Hubbard
24. Golden: Sing Along Songs 1966?
25. Jump Street: One Giant Family 1987
26. Alphabet Songs
27. Dek A Music: Pledge of Allegiance, others
28. Label torn off, older red plastic
29. Snoopy's Christmas (Peter Pan)
30. Disneyland: Rapunzel
31. Kenner's Projector: Sound of Bell Signals
32. Ditto, similar
33. Will I have a Friend? 1967
34. Sesame Street Original Cast: Goin for a Ride
35. Ms Pac Man's Prize Pupil (scratched)
I threw another out ecause it was chipped and scratched, worthless.
Give me whatever you think they're worth plus shipping, but you hafta take the whole lot (I have no room!)
I also have some 30 or 40 more WITH sleeves, and some empty sleeves (Several Sesame St. as well- worn Sesame St. Fever poster and worn record holder cardboard box)
But let me know about this bunch first:ysam: As I want to get rid of them, then we could move onto the better ones.
Thanks, Tom

Thanks anyways Tom, sorry for making you type all that out!
I'm not really sure what I'd do with all of those. Some of them would probably be fun to sift through just for samples but I was really looking specifically for Henson Sesame Street Records, Columbia, Arista, PYE, etc. LP's from the late 60's and 70's. I'd also like to find them with their original gatefold jackets if possible as I'm a bit of a record snob and I also prefer it for cataloguing since I own A LOT of vinyl. I don't know what I'd do with most of these though and I don't think they'd be worth it to ship. They sound like fun recordings but nothing too valuable or worthwhile imo, I personally think you'd be better off selling them in a garage sale or something this spring. If you have some extra sleeves lying around, you might try to bring them into a used record store but I doubt youd get more than a couple of bucks at most. They'd probably just end up in a box somewhere if I took them.
Thanks anyways though Tom!
Keep posting titles if you like though and if ever I see anything I might be interested in I'll let you know...

Hey Tom,
I sent you two p.m.'s but just wanted to remind you to let me know of any other vintage records you are looking to get rid of in future, because depending on what you've got, I might be interested in buying some of your better records and I have more takers for your less than choice vinyl pieces if you've got more you're looking to part from too.
