"Rocky and Bullwinkle" was witty and topical without being condescending. So were the other cartoons that were shown during this show ("Fractured Fairy Tales," "Peabody's Improbable History").

FYI, Hoppity Hooper and Uncle Waldo are actually same show but with different titles.
Anyway, I've seen episodes from all of those, except CRUSADER RABBIT, but I'll pick Rocky and Bullwinkle. Even though the show has a very limited animation, their witty dialogue makes it worth watching. Somehow, I kinda like Bullwinkle Show with rough animation anyway.

Definitely "Rocky & Bullwinkle." Funny that you should bring up this poll now because I've been watching my Rocky & Bullwinkle DVD's almost non-stop the last several days. Must be something in the water I guess.:p

Rocky and Bullwinkle is the best, no question. The voice acting and witty dialogue makes up for a low-budget animation. But, if there was a second place I would give it to Dudley Do-right.

I have to go with the majority and say Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Rocky & Bullwinkle of course!
I'm gonna have to pick George Of The Jungle, but not for George itself. THis series should have been "The Super Chicken Show" since it was the best segment of the series. Super Chicken is my all-time favorite Ward production. It held a certain 1967 (production year) tripped out flower child stigma with it's all-out wackiness, very colorful imagery, and last but not least, the super sauce. It is the funniest of Jay Ward's cartoons and is very underrated.
Rocky comes in right behind it with Peabody as my favorite segment. The bad animation only adds to the show's appeal. However, all Jay Ward product is quality stuff and if you've never seen Hoppity Hooper, you are missing out on one of the lost greats. Uncle Waldo was a great character

How could I have forgotten about SUPER CHICKEN. It was one of the best cartoon to be shown in TV. I remember watching it when George of the Jungle used to be shown on Cartoon Network many years ago.
