It's kinda hard for me to read that post...but I know that Woody's laugh was originated by Mel Blanc in the first Woody cartoon, "Knock Knock" from 1940 (and he had previously used it at Warner Bros. as the laugh for Ben Hardaway's early version of Bugs Bunny in "Porky's Hare Hunt" and the three subsequent proto-Bugs cartoons).

Wasn't the original Mel Blanc laugh used througout all the cartoons, even though if it was someone else doing the voice of Woody?

I thought I read somewhere that Grace Stafford rerecorded the laugh sometime in the mid-1950s.
