At just $60, that's a price you can't beat, especially considering the important material on this set.

There are rumors now that this set includes "Scooberang" bumpers as Easter Eggs - I have no idea why they are included, maybe to make this set even better!

This is so great! I'll buy every single set, but I wish someone would sell the entire series for $45. Wait, it's been done. Hasn't it?

The set includes the original pilot, I believe the plot deals with Grandma Pony telling the Baby Ponies from where jerked beef comes from.

Looking back at the article, it needs commentary, and interviews from the people behind this show.

Rhino is betting on the idea that this is a collection that moms will remember and want to share with their daughters.
I remember it, and I don't have a daughter, but if I did I sure as heck wouldn't subject her to it.

This is so cute!! Without joke, i remember already watched rarely in the past :)

That's same fun that all episodes uncut. How already censored on TV? How also commentaries of productor of this series?

That's a good changments to re-looking this great shows compared to today. Too crap the today's show!! Hooray for 80's series :bosko:

I believe it will. That's good because my copy is incomplete and in such poor quality.

Hey! How could you have forgotten the greatest ep of all, "Commando Ponies" (aka "Seein' Red, White and Glue")?

Jon Cooke certainly never did (all apologies and credit as due for my shameless swipe here)!

George W. as the " 'All Out for 'V' " on DVD!" Geezil

Will Jerry Beck be describing the history behind the ponies, the influential people who inspired this epic episode of animation, and the price differences betwixt the ponies of yesterday and the ponies of today? Or is it Barrier's turn?

Actually, I read somewhere that Beck isn't going to be on much of this set. He'll be doing some commentaries on a few episodes and be hosting some bonus material, but I believe that's about it. I'm pretty sure it's Barrier doing the historical introduction. However, that article could be wrong.

Ah yes, "Glue Factory Frolics" - I have read an alternate ending exists - apparently one of the ponies does a Rochester impression

BTW, Michael Barrier, Stan Freberg, and John K. will also be doing commentaries - BIG news!

Will Leonard Maltin also be doing commentaries? No, but he's doing all of the episode introductions. He also will be hosting the 50-minute documentary that is included as a bonus feature on disc 2.

They should have some of today's stars like Hilary Duff and Lindsey Lohan talk about "My Little Pony" influenced their lives.

As well as animators from some today's hit cartoon shows.

All right! They rescued the cute lil' bastards from the glue factory! They're not horseing around on this one, it's a shoe-in for being a mane attraction on DVD. (yeah, right, saddle be the day.)

My Little Pony: The Live-Action Movie II - Ponies Unleashed and 7 bonus episodes of Jem!

Will it include the episode where Jem quits her job as a rock star and becomes a prostitute?

Now that "My Little Pony" is being released to DVD, maybe we can ask for other great cartoons like "Pound Puppies" or "Care Bears" to make their debut on DVD.

Wasn't there another lost episode called "One Horse Town"?

I think Daydreams (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=B0001GH722/theunofficlooneyA/) is my favorite.

Wasn't there another lost episode called "One Horse Town"? Isn't that the episode where Jem and the gang go out west and disguise as sheep for some grass, but some cowboys declare war on them for stealing cattle land and kill all of them?

I'd say this thread is getting a bit too looney for "The Looney Bin" - I'm closing it so we can start some new games or fun threads.
