It's been revealed on Ultimate Disney.com that one of the Disney Treasures scheduled for this year will be titled "Disney Heroes". The reason why this may be off topic is that it seems this will be a be a live action release as it will feature Swamp Fox - a series which was part of the Walt Disney Presents show. I did a quick search and apparently there are 8 one hour episodes of it. I guess that the whole DVD won't be Swamp Fox (otherwise they'd just call it Swamp Fox).
As a cartoon fan, I can't say I'm particularly excited about this DVD, but I'm curious about what else will be on it. I assume it will be live action episodes of DineyLand which had stories with heroes in them! I also wonder what other titles we'll see this wave. The delayed True Life Adventures seems likely so hopefully they'll still be room for two cartoon sets this year. Donald 2 seems like the obvious choice since he's the main Disney cartoon star with lots of shorts left. I also think that song of the South will be coming some time fairly soon, but maybe not as a Treasure release. Maybe we'll see a release of the cartoon 'specials' this year?
