With the proliferation of Animation History and Instruction books that have been produced in the last 25 to 30 years, it might be interesting to exchange views on these, the good and the bad, and possilby discus them. Examples, anyone?:flip:

I personally liked the cover design for Jerry Beck's Fifty Greatest Cartoons. It was interesting featuring all the different cartoon characters from all different studios in a nightclub.

I still like the cover to Beck and Friedwald's "Warner Bros. Animation Art" - the cover features a real cel with Bugs, Daffy, Porky, and Tweety drawn in the Bob Clampett style over a background of model sheet poses.

(Although I actually liked the first edition cover better; it's a little less "busy" IMO.)
