Hi all.

I am wondering if Tom and Jerry have been released uncut on DVD (here in the USA). I have the Japanese 10 disc DVD box set and the shorts on that set are mostly uncut but not completely free of edits. I would like to find an "upgrade" to my Japanese set if it's available.

Thx.

So far, Japan has the better set if you want more uncut cartoons. The Spotlight Collection is great, but it does not include any of the Mammy Two Shoes cartoons, and has some edits.

Any word from Warner Home video about that DVD exchange program yet? :audrey:

No word from WHV and there might not be a re-issuse for the uncut cartoons for all we know.By now we've should have heard some kind of news.

Thanks for the input everyone.

While on the subject, can anyone proof positive confirm that there were 2 versions of the Japanese 10 disc DVD set? I've read online several places that there was an "uncut" set released and that only a small sticker on the box is the only way to tell them apart visually. I've seen a good number of the box sets but have never seen any with the sticker on them...

Thanks!
