Starting this month I'm going to be adding a new story weekly. This week we have a nice Don Gunn Bugs Bunny story. Click here (http://funnies.goldenagecartoons.com/weekly/02.01.05/bugs01.html) to read it!
Don't worry though, a new archive section will be up soon to display some past historic stories!

Pretty cool, Thad!! Great old stuff!! It occured to me while reading this how RARE it is to see Bugs and Porky together - only happened a couple of times in the cartoons, right?:bugs2: :ham:
Oh Bugs and Porky were INSEPERABLE in the comics. They were always seen with each other since the dawn of Warner Bros. comics in 1941, going on business ventures like the one seen here, to Barksesian adventures (one of which, from 1943, will be featured soon... Barks actually borrowed some material from it for his 1949 Duck classic "Luck of the North"!)

Really??! That is really interesting to me - I must admit that my exposure to Looney Tunes in the comics is almost non-existent - which is saying a lot, believe me. I've read enough comics of all types to fill the Louvre.

And thank you, Thad, for giving us another in this series of comic book gems. Just a couple of thoughts on this Bugs adventure:
1) Don't you wish they'd remembered Lulu Belle when the planning began for "Space Jam" instead of sticking us with -- oh, you know -- ?
2) Less obvious, since Bugs was the only character in this story without a stitch of clothing on, might we conclude that at this stage in his comics career, he was accepted by his peers as the town nudist?
George W. as the "Oh, and BTW, I still hope I'll see that 'Felix and the Aqueduct' story here someday!" Geezil

...and I hope so TOO!
I've been through the full run of Harvey issues without finding a thing resembling an aqueduct. Same goes for the Dell series.
I can only imagine it's a Toby Press story, and I don't have access to the Toby issues at present. Meeyowr!

And "Mew!" backatcha, David, with deepest thanks for all your hard work trying to locate it. Please don't worry about any other Felix issues in this case...I know the Tobys well predated my first exposure to comics, and IIRC, most of the post-Harvey "Felix"es from Dell bit the big one (I recall buying just one issue, and shortly after finishing the last story, handing it over to my mother to wrap fish in it and get it out of my sight for all time!).
Thankfully, Dell never got the rights back for Bugs!! :D
