then you know how excited I was about this recent release by Ray Pointer.
Ray told me about your review. A very nicely written/in-depth review of the DVD. I truly expect it to get a lot of attention :)

Pietro, in your review you mention that for The Great Cheese Robbery, "Mr. Pointer features this short complete with its original ending intact, one that was absent from many other earlier copies of the short."
Yet in Del Walker's review he notes "Cheese Robbery was sourced from a Library of Congress print and was missing its ending. Ray Pointer was able to bridge on an ending through the insertion of a title card and looping the sequence for a brief moment. This reconstruction is flawlessly done, so that upon viewing it no abnormality is seen."
So the question is, is this a restoration or a reconstruction?
Perhaps the maestro, himself, can answer as he is now a forum member...:D

Is it live or is it Memorex? Maybe you will have to buy it to see for yourself. You say pah-tay-toe, and I say pah-tah-toe, you say tah-may-toe, and I say tah-mah-toe....:felix:
