Thanks to our 48 voters in this first poll of its particular kind, and as we continue to wish one another a Very Happy New Year, let's hope those in and around the animation & TV industries who Know Who They Are will enjoy enough of a change of heart and spirit in 2005 that this will never again cry out to be done at GAC!

THE 2004 GAC WALL OF OUTRAGE!

#3: The Barnacle-Coated Bronze Medal goes to ...

SPUMCO

That odd little studio that could ... come racing out of nowhere onto our third step, thanks to the DVD set we'll diplomatically call "Ren & Stimpy Allegedly Uncut."

#2: The Tarnished Silver Medal is for ...

CARTOONS REMADE IN LIVE-ACTION

"Garfield" and the whole sorry bunch.

And finally for 2004 ... drumroll, please? ...

#1: We present The Encrusted Gold Medal to ...

(aw, you guessed! ...)

CARTOON NETWORK!!!!!!!

Thanks, guys and gals at CN, for all you've done throughout 2004 to cement your boots to-- ... er ... to cement this honor. And now, on to (let's hope) a more fruitful, less fretful 2005 for all.

Here's hoping that the worst thing to appear on 2005's Gac Wall of Outrage is "Geezil stubbed his toe". :)

Will the wall become a TTTP background?

I don't really mean it; I don't want to see it every time I go on the forum.

Aside to Daffysleftfoot: Hey, thanks a lot! It seems I did stub my toe at right about the time you were writing your post. You see? Psychic projection works! (Or, maybe it's just karma at work in return for my creating That Poll to begin with.)

Aside to frizfrelengfan: Don't fret. No wallpaper. And just to drive the true point home (after I pull it out of my toe), maybe this year we'll (ouch!!) see much more action on the corporate level in terms of handling classic toons with as much respect as other classic cinema has long received.

Peace? I hope so.

George W. as the "Free Gandy and Sourpuss in 2005!" Geezil
