OK, I know some of us here dislike these cues, but to me they often tend to have a neat quirky feel to them (yes, I have a fondness for the groovy 1960s-1970s KPM music library cues). This is usually the main reason I watch those poorly-done redrawn colorized cartoons by Radio & TV Packages from 1972-1973. Some of them, like the groovy music "score" to the Felix the Cat redrawn "Mr. Do-All" even help distract from the bad colorization, IMO (even though they actually get Felix's color right for a change in this one!)
I have only identified two of these cues on the www.apmmusic.com website...
"FUNKY FANFARE (SMALL GROUP)" by Keith Mansfield, from album KPMK 1043/2 "Beat Incidental"
This cue played on the Mutt & Jeff redrawn cartoon "Egyptian Daze"
"WILL HE, WON'T HE?" by David Lindup, from albums KPMK 1112/2 "The Rhythm of Modern Life/Vaudeville" and KPM 662 "Classic Comedy"
This cue played on the cartoon "Music and Charm" (redrawn version of the Terrytoon "The Villain Still Pursued Her")
If anyone who knows his or her way around the mighty KPM library could help identify more, it would be grateful. I tried looking but so far only found those two (I also found TONS of music cues heard on "Ren & Stimpy," "Spongebob Squarepants," the early H-B and Gumby cartoons and the "Seely Six" WB shorts.)
Hey, with all the Capitol Hi-Q discussion, an Associated Production Music-related discussion was quite needed!
