The 11/19/2009 "Off The Mark" comic by Mark Parisi was hysterical and features Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Porky Pig, the martian some call Marvin, and (possibly) The Road Runner.

Cartoons are on a one week delay so if your local paper doesn't carry it, check this link on or before Thanksgiving Day:

Am I the only one that finds jokes about the Coyote catching the Road Runner disturbing? Chuck Jones was the only one to do it right.

He did a fairly-decent job drawing the characters; although maybe the Coyote's snout was a bit too fat in the middle.

Oh geez...:D This reminds me of a comic where the sesame street characters are celebrating thanksgiving and Big Bird is the turkey.:D

Off the Mark is a rather funny comic strip though-and the creator does do a lot of comics concerning classic cartoon characters.

Chuck Jones' book showed some gag cartoons about coyote & road runner--
one, by Mike Peters, I think, showed the coyote in an elevator with a bunch of doctors whose beepers were going off

Parisi (my classmate & fellow college radio DJ; Salem State, '84) has done
clinical hospitals for cartoon characters ("The Betty Rubble Center for Recovering Toons"), etc Here are some cartoon-related strips he did ("Dentist the Menace",
Looney Tune char. Ipods

Regarding the latter, if I had a Wile E. Coyote suit like that I'd probably win first place in every costume contest I attend! (I DO have one of those huge rubber masks of the coyote, but it's starting to detoriate...)

But you gotta give credit on Mark Parisi; his comic strip is almost like a funnier version of Robot Chicken!
