Seeing as to how recent CDOTW's have been getting a rather slim response, and I'll be out of town this weekend (which means no CDOTW on Sunday, unless somebody else volunteers), I think I'll ask the following question: Is it time to give them a rest?

No. Just don't always come up with Daffy/Speedy cartoons. ;)

You mean he hasn't done a thread for every single Daffy/Speedy cartoon ever made already?
Anyways, since you'll be out of town... Perhaps I can take over? :o I DO happen to have a suggestion for a cartoon I consider to be a "forgotten masterpiece" (HINT: It's a Disney short).

IIRC, the only D/S cartoon I ever did a CDOTW for was A Squeak In The Deep (Speedy Ghost To Town doesn't count since it was an April Fools Day joke).
Anyway, feel free Kasey.

If we're giving COTW a rest could we institute an "Open Line Friday" in its place?

Maybe I can do a CDotW sometime, too. :)

I enjoy the cartoon discussions. I do like the idea of having some others post the weekly thread. Maybe you guys can discuss it via Private Messages. How about Kasey do it next week?

I don't always have time to participate in the discussions, and sometimes I haven't seen the cartoon being discussed. But I always enjoy a lively discussion. As long as it doesn't degenerate into flame-throwing.

Keep on doing it!
I was actually going to one about a Terrytoon last Sunday, but Marty beat me to it. Note that it was a different Terrytoon.

I've been so busy with other stuff, I haven't had time to respond to all of the weekly discussions.
As long as we're keeping the topics varied, as is the current case, I'm up for continuing them.
