I know some of us here collects cartoons on 16mm, so this thread is to them: what titles do you have?
I'm slowly but surely starting to collect them, so I only have few, but these are what I have so far:
Springtime for Clobber - Clint Clobber/Terrytoons (Technicolor print in 'Scope - no opening credits, but otherwise complete)
The Great Continental Overland Cross-Country Race - Roland and Rattfink/DePatie-Freleng
$6.95 Bionic Shark - Misterjaw/DePatie-Freleng
Holiday for Drumsticks - Daffy Duck/Warner Bros.
Merlin the Magic Mouse - Merrie Melodies/Warner Bros.-Seven Arts (Technicolor print)
It's So Nice to Have a Wolf Around the House - Paul Fierlinger/AR&T Studio (Oscar nominee)

Hopefully I'll eventually add some Warner titles to my collection. Alas, they tend to be the most expensive.
If you don't mind getting old B&W TV prints (of color cartoons) or faded color prints you can get off pretty cheaply. Something to consider.

What most of us can ever find. It's best to check out what stocks are used on these prints, whether regular Eastman, LPP, Fuji, etc.

Don't have much "Golden Age" in my collection, but here's what I got I can think of...
The Flintstones (1 episode from 1962-63 season)
The Jetsons ("Elroy's Mob")
Top Cat (1 eps.)
Hurdy Gurdy Hare (B&W copy)
Scrap Happy Daffy (dupe)
3 Porky Pig Korean redrawns (2 using W7 logos and another a redrawn Guild Films open/closing titles)
The Raven (2-reeler Fleischer stinker in B&W, rather than 'Crimson-Vision')
Linus the Lionhearted (2 episodes, one has commercials I think, but another is B&W)
Panda & The Magic Serpent (Toei's first animated feature, though oddly subtitled in English based on the English dialogue, so I wasn't sure what this print was made for)
The Man from Button Willow
A Christmas Carol (Richard Williams' version)
The Little Norse Prince (rare English version of "Hols, Prince of the Sun", Toei 1968)
The World of Hans Christian Andersen (cinemascope print)
Battle of the Planets (1 episode)
Kum Kum (odd anime from Sunrise, 2 episodes)
Filmation's Tom & Jerry Comedy Show (interstitials)
Rocky & His Friends (reel of Op/Ed/interstitials of second season)
Jack & The Beanstalk (1974 anime feature)
Dodo the Kid from Outer Space (1 eps.)
Bucky & Pepito (several episodes in B&W)
Crusader Rabbit (full compilation adventure feature from color series)
Ant & The Aardvark (1 cartoon)
Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp (B&W dupe of three stories spliced together)
commercials (numerious)
Hugo the Hippo (bizarre 1970's American-Hungarian co-production)
numerous educational films, mostly decards from schools and library A/V depts.
Cosmic Christmas (first Nelvana TV special)
Take Me Up To The Ballgame (another Nelvana special)
numerious foreign-produced animated cartoons and other shorts
That's all I can think of right now, but going through my winnings on eBay, here's what else I have!

I used to have a large film collection when I had my little theater, but I sold them all off. Last year, since I still had one projector, I decided to buy a handful of inexpensive films just to run once in awhile for kicks.
The Drifter - Mighty Heroes
Dumb Patrol - Bugs Bunny
Hip Hip Hurry
Musical Moments from Chopin
Blue Cat Blues
How Green is my Spinach
Porky's 5 and 10
Puss n Booty
Porky's Moving Day
Fish Tales
Flying Fool - Misterjaw
Pop Goes the Easel - 3 Stooges

I've got more than Thad :D (and live in an apartment, as opposed to him in a house)...but no Warners past '41 or so and any of that other mainstream jazz that has caused many "cartoon overdoses" over the years. :p

Like me. I live in a house though, and have my films in at least two sections of the house, and are in mostly totes in closets for now. If only I could afford a cool place to have 'em in!

Updated my list. Sold one and got three more, two of which are from Warner Bros.

I am considering starting a 16mm cartoon collection myself, but I am heavily concentrating on the Censored 11 and other un-PC cartoons that most likely won't find their way on DVD. I am very anxious to see the C11, but does anyone else think I am pursuing this hobby for all the wrong reasons?

That's a bad idea. Sixteen milimetre prints of Censored Eleven cartoons, particularly "Coal Black", typically sell for hundreds of dollars due to the rarity of seeing them anywhere other than on 16mm. You might want to start small, getting cheaper cartoons and see if collecting film is really what you want to be doing. If you find that you like it, you can go all out, but it's best to start small. Make sure only to pay large sums for prints you can physically see in some way, whether in person, or through pictures of the film, and look for faded colour, vinegar syndrome, warping, etc.
You can get new prints (literally) of several of the Censored 11 titles for $125 each from certain online film dealers. Used prints will be cheaper.

Thad, how much did the features run you, particularly the higher tier (Thin Man, Double Ind., Duck Soup, etc) and how are the colors on the Disney films? Did you strike new prints or all they all original 16mm distro copies?

I just informed yesterday in a local videostore if they sealed again 16/35 mm because they have a big collection of foreign films with rarities but at least they have also vinyle discs. I remember finding some 16mm cartoons in a using market before they destroyed it even if it's much used here for family films.

It must be something in the air. The library where I work had an auction and someone gave me three 16mm projectors, still in great condition. They aren't the best you can get, being library projectors, but they work!
As I'm rather strapped at the moment, my collection consists of a single Disney educational film from 1981, "Snow White: A Lesson in Cooperation". Man, is it bad. Still, it's got the "Whistle While You Work" segment in its entirety. Not a total loss. It was worth it to be able to show my five-year-old what actual film looks like. He was fascinated with the whole mechanism.
I suspect I'll pick up more prints as funds become available. The pickings on eBay tend to be pretty slim, at least for films that are reasonably-priced. I can't really afford a ton of money for a feature. Maybe someday.

Just scored three "Inspector" shorts on film: Cirrhosis of the Louvre, Reaux Reaux Reaux Your Boat, and The Pique Poquette of Paris. Plus one Pink Panther Therapeutic Pink (the last one of the regular DFE theatrical release, in fact)

This isn't a cartoon, but today I received a complete 16mm print of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?. I just screened it tonight and it's awesome. I'm going to pair it up with a Road Runner cartoon and show it in the bar I manage in a couple of weeks - 3 nights in a row!

Also have one more on hold from another seller.

Thad, you know I don't collect features.
Thad, you know I don't collect features.
I thought you'd make an exception for that one. Your favorite. One of the post-mid 40s Joan Crawford features, you know, when she became a man.
