We've got TWO birthdays to celebrate today. June 9 is the 75th birthday of Donald Duck and also the 20th birthday of our pal, Thad K. :donald:

We should watch some cartoons (or read some Carl Barks funnies) in both their honors. ;)

Thad's only 20? Wow, I thought for sure he was in his late 30s, at least. Nonetheless, happy birthday! (And thanks for providing us with those great animator reels!)

For those who care, the D23 site is celebrating the Duck's birthday by having articles of the duck (guess who wrote the one about the nephews), a contest to find a portrait artist for the duck, and showing some of the staff's favorite duck shorts.

The cartoons are "Chef Donald", "Truant Officer Duck", "Donald's Snow Fight", and fan favorite, "Fire Chief".
