Was it really necessary to do this?

I mean...really?

Cueball, get ready...
As for me, you know what they say. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'll might keep my eye on it, but my hopes aren't high...

Well, Dave Boreanz's dad (known as Dave Thomas, back then) used to host a local "kiddie" show (ROCKETSHIP 7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocketship_7)) in Buffalo, NY. Glad to see his son is getting involved with showing cartoons on TV, as well.

This is pretty weird-and pointless truthfully- yet perhaps it's not any weirder than an episode of the Drew Carry show in which Daffy Duck tries to apply for a job-in that case it wasn't even a hallucination.

If you've ever watched the show, then you know that humor seems very inappropriate at times; so in a sense I'm not surprised.

Ok...so?
It's a one episode cross-over that's pretty much nothing more than network synergy. How is this the worst thing in the world? If it was any other show than Family Guy (the apparent anti-Christ around here) no one would be batting an eyelid.
Learn some tolerance, people.

I don't watch "Family Guy" or "Bones" and even I think this is pretty funny. The premise of a crossover between a live action show and an animated show being achieved through an animated character appearing only through a live action character's hallucinations is actually quite clever. I might even watch this just to see how it works.

I don't see it being a huge deal either (and I am not even much of a Family Guy fan). I have to wonder how different the reaction here would have been if the animated character making the cameo was going to be, say, Droopy or Mighty Mouse.

I guess it's not really that unusual and I probably overeacted. I guess I'm just sick of all the praise and hype around Family Guy. (For the record, I like some early Family Guy epsiodes.)
