Ahhh... me public! Thanks, all.

Y'know, it would be nice to relate a raft of such memories, like f'rinstance seeing "One Froggy Evening" in first-run, but there really aren't any. Truth is, we weren't a big going-out family, and that includes movies. Usually it was just occasionally with my older brother (who, interestingly enough, took the 8 year old me to see "Rear Window," of all things, thereby instilling in me a lifelong fixation on large suitcases and flashbulbs). Mostly, I remember seeing Mr. Magoos in considerable quantity. I can't actually dredge up any recollection of any MM/LTs on the big screen. My very first movie memory of any kind, though, is a hazy one of Disney's "Wind in the Willows." Might have been in the original release, when I would have been 3.
